The old Red House felt less touristy and more deeply local. It was our fave family seafood makan😋 when overseas friends visited me in year 2000, we used to meet up there for chili 🦀.

There was a crazy record in 2012, a group of our apac colleagues gathered in here for different purposes, we 5 ordered 24 pieces of mantou to dip the chilli sauce. And now, we managed to say goodbye to Jumbo before ecp revamp. We just had 16 🥖 for 4 as we are a lot older.🤣

這星期不斷“脫稿”，飯照煮碗照洗，加入棋局後無寫作😝。每日一篇自我要求，每日煮食每日寫作。Skipped a few posts last week due to busy chess games and all of a sudden got back to my Chicago series after dinner. My discipline is to cook and write every day, which I have kept it up for 8 years. The only way out is to better manage my time, wash faster and win faster. 😝

No badminton game this Sunday to enjoy and support 750 🇭🇰men's final game and the 🇰🇷 Queen. Had our lunch prep on Friday. Drunken chicken & braised peanuts topped with local lettuce & 🥚

晚餐邊睇男雙，邊懶煎澳🥩+牛油炒🥦❤️🧡💚🍅❤️💛🫑+澳洲🎃煮澳🐖
Lazy dinner to pan seared oz striploin. Sauteed oz brocoli, tomatoes & capsiums with leftover beef oil. Boosted lycopene when tomatoes were cooked. Oz pumpkin & pork collar stew.

花雕醉雞，做法簡單
🌸雞隔水蒸，涼浸冰水。當歸花菇杞子紅棗煲半小時，待涼加入花雕酒，移雞入煲飲醉為止。
Easy peasy Drunken chicken recipe
Steam chicken and soak in ice for abt 10mins.
Boil Angelica, shiitake, gojiberries & red dates for 1/2 hour then cool down. Pour Huadiao cooking wine. Move 🐔 to drink the wine for 1-2 days in fridge.

花菇🥜炆🌸雞腎雞腳 Braised shiitake & Peanuts with fresh sakura chicken gizzards & chicken feet.

廣東話偈後語～真正“雞咳咁早” Fresh Sakura chicken delivery at 8am this morning when I was enjoying my ☕️. All parts were slaughtered yesterday. The best thing is to cook all the fresh ingredients in one go.
