At Brako, besides our farmers, production team, and researchers, we also have three very special team members:
Olo, Ollie, and Ola.

Their official role?

While they may not be involved in cupping sessions or post-harvest processing, they never fail to greet visitors, accompany our team around the farm, and remind us that building a coffee company is also about creating a place people enjoy being part of.

At Brako, quality is not a matter of chance, it is the result of a structured process, disciplined production, and long-term partnerships with farmers.
With a controlled daily processing capacity of approximately 68–69 kg of specialty green coffee per day and a seasonal output reaching 8.4 tons per harvest season, we focus on maintaining consistency rather than pursuing volume at all costs.
From cherry selection and flotation to controlled biological fermentation, drying, hulling, and final quality control, every stage is designed to preserve the unique character of our coffees while ensuring repeatable results from batch to batch.

Our commitment is simple:
• Consistent quality through standardized processing protocols
• Reliable supply through planned seasonal production
• Full traceability from farm to final lot

Behind every exceptional cup of coffee, there is a story that is far from perfect and Brako’s journey in Pangalengan is no exception.

In the early days of building Brako, there were no clear titles, no strict hierarchy of boss and subordinate. What existed instead was a shared belief: that Pangalengan could produce coffee worthy of the world stage. The team worked side by side, often with little sleep, long days blending into cold early mornings. Each process—harvesting, sorting, fermenting, drying—was not just a task, but a collective responsibility carried with equal weight.

There were moments of uncertainty, failed batches, and physical exhaustion. But those challenges became part of the foundation. Every setback sharpened their understanding, every long night strengthened their resolve. What kept them moving was simple yet powerful: the commitment to pursue the best possible result, no matter the cost of comfort.

Brako was never built on convenience—it was built on conviction. A belief that great coffee is not only about technique, but about care, patience, and the willingness to go through the process together.
