😭😭😭😭😭Hello everyone. Day by day, things are getting worse, and we are really not okay.
It has become very difficult to breathe, especially for those of us living with asthma. I have a history of asthma myself, and today I experienced difficulty breathing because of the smoke and haze.
Today, around 7 hectares of land were burned down, just a 5-minute motorbike ride from my home (and it’s not Ladang/farming area it’s forest)
The smoke is getting closer to our homes, and we are deeply worried about our health, our forests, and our community. We also don’t have proper firefighting equipment. The men in our community are trying to put out the fire using only manual hand-pump sprayers.
They are doing everything they can to stop the fire from spreading, but it is extremely difficult and dangerous without proper equipment.
The fire is only about a 5-minute motorbike ride from my home, and the smoke is making it very difficult for us to breathe.
This is not just about the loss of trees. It is about the air we breathe, the environment we depend on, and the safety of our families.
We need urgent attention and action. Our forests are burning, and we are struggling to breathe.
