Oh, hello again, everyone.

Let me tell you about a restaurant that will be living rent-free in my mind for the rest of my life: The Cave by Chef Ryan Clift at The Edge, in beautiful Bali.

This was, without question, the best dining experience of my life. It didn’t just meet my expectations — it completely redefined them. From the moment we stepped inside the cave, the ambience was breathtaking. Every detail felt intentional and intimate.

The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable — not only about each course, but about the history and story of the cave itself. And the food? Absolute perfection. Every single course built on the last, thoughtful and refined, with flavors that genuinely surprised me. I wouldn’t change a single thing about that night.

Huge thank you to for planning such an unforgettable evening.

If there is one dinner in the world I’d tell you to splurge on, it’s this one. Don’t miss it. It’s not just a meal — it’s a memory you’ll carry with you long after you leave one of the most beautiful places on earth.

15/10 stars. Always.

The next post has nothing to do with food, but if any of you are heading to Bali and looking for a photographer, I can’t recommend Studio 8 Bali Photography enough. We were gifted a photoshoot while we were there, and since it was our very first professional session, we were a little nervous. Yakyak, our photographer, made us feel so comfortable and relaxed the entire time, which made the experience genuinely enjoyable.

Yakyak recommended we shoot at Mengening Beach, and it was absolutely perfect. Even though it was crowded when we arrived, he knew exactly where to take us to get the best shots. We had so much fun, and this experience will forever be one of our favorite memories from Bali—and honestly, our lifetime. Thank you for the unforgettable moments and a face full of ocean water 🤍🌊

was one of the restaurants on my list that was a MUST try while we were in Bali. The restaurant specializes in all things pork. Needless to say...we pigged out! 😂 While you are enjoying your meal at this restaurant, don’t skip out on their drinks. They had a wide variety of delicious drinks and if you so happen to finish 4 martini’s or margarita’s, you get your name on their wall of fame.

Here are some drinks and dishes we tried:

Pineapple Mojito

Iced Butterfly Tea

Lychee Martini

Giant Mango Daiquiri (serves 4 people)

Nuri’s Belly Bites (Juicy pork belly tossed in bold, sweet, and spicy sauce)

Mac n Cheese (Creamy macaroni baked to golden perfection, topped with crispy beef bits)

Nuri’s Prawn Skewers (Juicy prawn, fresh off the grill, buttery garlic with a hint of lemony zing)

Nuri’s Meat Platter (1.3kg of succulent pork knuckle, tender ribs, delightful pork belly satay and crispy pork belly)

Not going to lie guys, EVERYTHING we tried was delicious. The highlight of the meal would definitely be the pork knuckle. It was so juicy and tender and the skin was nice and crispy). We will definitely be going back for some of their other items in the future.

Thank you for a wonderful meal. Anyone going to Bali needs to check them out! They have 4 restaurants in and around Bali for all your porky cravings.

Let’s start the Bali posts with a restaurant we went to for dinner while we were shopping at Living World Denpasar (this mall is a must go for all the foodies out there!). This restaurant serves delicious authentic Indonesian dishes in a cozy atmosphere.

We had the following dishes in order of the pictures:

Bakso Gurami (Meatballs, green vegetables, rice noodles, celery, wonton crackers, tomato, fried onions and sambal)

Gurami Asam Manis (Deep Fried Fish gurame with sweet & sour sauce)

Gurami Santan Kemangi (Deep Fried Fish gurame with coconut milk & basil sauce)

Cap Cay Seafood (Stir Fried mixed vegetables with shrimp & squid)

Cumi Asam Manis (Sweet and sour squid served with traditional seasoning) **SPICY**

Udang Bakar Oles (Grilled prawns with glaze served with spicy fried chili, raw chili sauce and traditional seasoning)

Kerang Bakar Oles (Grilled glazed clams served with traditional seasoning)

Sapo Tahu (Stir Fried mixed vegetables with egg tofu)

Ice Teler Durian (A shaved ice dessert with durian, avocado, sugar palm fruit, jackfruit. Served with coconut milk, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with condensed milk.)

All the dishes had a punch of flavor and represented a wide array of Indonesian flavors. Flavors that reminded me of home. And let me tell you, when they say it’s spicy, it’s ACTUALLY spicy! I’d definitely come back for the squid, coconut milk fried fish and the durian dessert.

Thank you for having us . We hope to dine with you again really soon!
