Elderflower cordial💚 my favourite summer drink. Made with elderflowers from my garden (the pink ones are from my kind friend), organic lemons, sugar and a little bit of citric acid.
Lovely with sparkling water or something stronger 🥂
I have both traditional elderflower cordial and a rosé version, which is made with white and pink flowers. And I’ll be making pink one (only pink flowers) later this week.

Carey’s castle💚 a wonderful little gem that I recently discovered. I visited on my own a few week’s ago and thought to myself “I must bring the kids here, I bet they’ll love it”. And they did. So much to explore, a great place for playing hide and seek, a beautiful river and a lovely walk through the forest. A great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
