Time trials at the shop this evening inspired by all the runners who called in today after their achievements at the race in Portumna forest park 🙌

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped in at the shop this weekend, we really appreciate every one of you for supporting our little shop ♥️

If anyone else wants to do a time trial, just let me know, I'm a dab hand with an oven timer - 14 seconds is the time to beat 🤣

You'd definitely think I'm half cracked 🥚 if you knew how much I think about lowering our environmental impact and waste at the shop ... Kate, God love her is well aware 🙈

We've started to put the many egg shells leftover from baking to another use (rather than into the general composter) ... and we will have some to spare in the coming weeks.
They will be next to the coffee grinds by the shop door if you'd like some for your garden ....

We have a very special Meet the Maker event at the shop this Friday morning at 11 am ❤️
Our amazing Mam, the maker of our gorgeous elderflower cordial will be here to talk all things elderflower and to share some refreshing tasters.
Mam will be happy to give you all the tips and tricks for making the perfect cordial.
However if you prefer to outsource that job we will have small bottles of Mam's cordial for sale in the shop fridge ....

We feel very privileged to be adding our own chapter to the life of this special building in the village ...
I often think about how many people have come through the door over the years, I imagine all the different products that have sat on the shelves, and if the walls could talk all the news and stories that were shared here.

We are so thankful to everyone who supports our village shop & coffee stop, we wouldnt be here without ye 😊

We are thrilled to have live music back at the shop this Saturday 2nd May from 3-4 pm to celebrate the bank holiday weekend 🎼
Our 1st session was such a success we just had to do it all again!
We'd love to see you for the ceoil, the craic and a cuppa on Saturday ❤️
