Last week, Our shop manager Ollie Roche, along with Dara and Alanna O’Gorman presented a cheque of €2,000 to the Principal of Scoil Diarmada Mrs. Murphy. We are delighted that this money could be collected from our signed Irish Rugby Jersey auction in aid of the late John Dooley’s super garden.

We are looking forward to seeing John’s beautiful garden bloom for years to come!

We have decided to auction off our last Irish Rugby jersey with all proceeds going to the late John Dooley’s super garden in Scoil Diarmada. On the 4th of June 2024 John sadly passed away. The night before he passed, John sat in the kitchen with Liz his wife and best friend. They talked about the next adventure which was to donate his Super Garden to the children of Scoil Diarmada. John’s love and passion for gardening was immense. He wanted to share his knowledge of gardens with the children and hoped to inspire and share knowledge of planting and growing vegetables, flowers and trees. Now is the time to come together as a community and help Johns final wish come true.

This jersey has been fully signed by the Irish squad and is perfect for any rugby super fan. The auction will begin today and will run for two weeks (ending on the 29th of March) at 6pm. To place bids please message our page or come into the shop. Thank you!
