✨Two heifers for the Carrick Pedigree Shows & Sales Carrick Pedigree Shows & Sales centenary show and sale on Friday 23 October✨

🖤👉 On the left is Drumcrow Beautiful Klooney, a direct daughter of the world renowned maternal specialist Millah Murrah Klooney. This young heifer comes from the best line in our herd, having produced numerous champions and high priced angus cattle at auction in Ireland over the past few years, not just for us, but for other breeders. If her pedigree isn’t enough, look at her indexes in the comments below, ranking in the top 2% of the breed on replacement with an index value of €234. She is a heifers calf, with her mother calving down at just over 24 months and has calved again this year, gaining over a month.
🖤👉 On the right is Drumcrow Princess Tulip, another heifers calf, with her mother calving her down at just over 19 months and has calved again in July this year. A daughter of HW Abacus from a cow line that has produced several successful stock bulls, including, Drumcrow Plata Rise, Drumcrow Putins Rage who sold in carrick in April 2025 for the second highest price of €8,400 and Drumcrow Polar Express, sire of the highest priced animal at this years Gigginstown Angus sale at €9,500.
Both heifers are cycling regularly and are eligible for export to Northern Ireland from the sale.

This brought a smile to our faces this evening. 😊 A Drumcrow Reeko daughter achieving the joint highest price of 7,400 gns in the Mosston Muir dispersal in Scotland. It’s a long time ago since they had Drumcrow Lagoon. Ironically, Reekos great grandam, Drumcrow Jita, was the mother of Lagoon. Congratulations to the Rennies on their sale, a great herd for a long time🖤🖤

A couple of pictures taken on the farm over the past few weeks. Weather makes all the difference 😊🖤🖤

Genetics that stand the test of time. Twelve year old Drumcrow Pettle with her March 2026 born bull calf today. A daughter of Roose Ulah, who was born in 1983, Pettle is our smallest cow, but as for efficiency and profitability, she ranks with the very best, with a calving interval of 358 days.

🖤🖤A nice surprise this evening, Drumcrow Dora, now in her 19th year, with her new born heifer calf. Throughout her lifetime she has held a calving interval of 363 days, as well as producing some well known stock bulls, such as, Drumcrow Twenty Twenty, Drumcrow Livewire, Drumcrow Montana and Drumcrow Raw Peak. During this time she has also left us with some very Influential daughters, including the mothers of Drumcrow Tribesman (Dovea), Drumcrow Armageddon (NCBC) and Drumcrow Valentino.🖤🖤

This is why we think so much of HW Abacus. An 18-month-old Ballyart Trade Secret heifer with a beautiful new born HW Abacus calf. Calved herself and up and sucking in minutes. The beauty of Angus cattle.

🖤🖤A throw back to this fella who would have turned 14 years old over the weekend. Lived until he was 13 years old, feet never touched, proved all the old theories of angus breeding to be correct.

Sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters have proven time and time again just how good he was 🖤🖤
