Happy World Milk Day! π₯ What better way to celebrate than with whole, fresh milk straight from the farm at The Milk Well? π
Our milk is pasteurised, but not homogenised. The result is a rich, creamy milk, in which the cream floats to the top, just like old times π
The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the UN (FAO) established World Milk Day to promote the importance of milk globally as a highly nutritious food.
Milk is naturally rich in protein, generally containing 7g in a 200ml glass. The protein in milk is a 'complete' protein as it contains all of the essential amino acids needed for growth and repair in the body. πͺ
Milk also contains essential vitamins and minerals that contribute to healthy bones and muscles, nervous system function, and reduction of fatigue, among others, such as Calcium, Phosphorous and B Vitamins. Swipe for more information! π
