Manor Farm 1775

Manor Farm Chicken is 100% Irish from egg to plate. Our company has been producing Irish chicken since 1775. Manor Farm, Welcome Home.

Manor Farm Chicken has its origins in the heart of the Dublin markets where it was founded in 1775 by the Carton family. We source our chicken exclusively from Bord Bia approved farms located in the north east corner of Ireland. Our farming families have been growing chicken with us for generations now producing the finest quality succulent Irish chicken that only comes with these many years of experience. All of this delivers great tasting chicken from our Irish farms to your table.

Welcome to the family 🐔 We are delighted to announce that Scandi Standard has acquired Glenhaven Foods and will now be led by Manor Farm. First established over 40 years ago, Wicklow-based Glenhaven Foods has been a key player in the poultry industry, producing frozen value-added products for retailers, both in Ireland and the UK. With leadership from Manor Farm and the backing of Scandi Standard, Glenhaven Foods will continue to scale and grow, while maintaining the family values that have been an integral part of the business to date. We look forward to building on these strong foundations together.

Today, Manor Farm is proud to launch Feeding Tomorrow our sustainability strategy for 2026 and beyond. Feeding Tomorrow sets out our ambition and the actions we are taking to help build a stronger, more resilient and sustainable future for Irish poultry farming.

As Ireland’s leading chicken producer, we recognise the responsibility we have to continue producing high-quality Irish chicken while supporting the people who make that possible, advancing animal health and welfare, protecting our natural resources and strengthening the long-term sustainability of our farming network and wider industry. Feeding Tomorrow is our commitment to that future.

We look forward to sharing our progress, celebrating the milestones along the way and being open about the work still to be done.

“It’s a bit of a cheat-code foodwise, because it’s good for you, but also delish.” 😋 What comes to mind when you hear the word chicken? We got these Dubliners to share their opinions 🐔 🙌

For over 250 years, family farming has been a major part of the Manor Farm story, and that continues today. 🐓 In fact, many of our family farmers have been looking after chickens for over a century. We have farmers across Ireland that are part of the Manor Farm family, and we are proud to work with each and every one of them.
