Unfortunately due to the shop being a little quieter in the current climate we are forced to cap how much cash back we can give daily.

If you are told we can’t do cash back today we are extremely sorry but we just don’t have an abundance of it on premises with many people using cards.

Sundays we are even more limited with cash back due to the shorter opening hours so some sundays we won’t be able to give cash back at all.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and We thank those that are supporting us daily, we really appreciate your custom to keep this little village shop open.

Unfortunately due to the road works for the next couple of days you won’t be able to park outside the shop

Please don’t let it deter you from coming in we need your custom as one bad week in a small shop like this isn’t good for keeping it open

If you can try and park further up by the guard station and walk down that would be advised and we greatly appreciate your patience and support 👍🏼☺️

Kilkenny County Council wish to advise that road ref: R701 Kilmoganny will be closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with road ref: L1029 Ballinva to its junction with road ref: R697 Kilmoganny village daily on Tuesday 18th, Wednesday 19th & Thursday 20th August from 8.00.am – 6.00pm approximately to facilitate roadworks.
Local access only.

Diversions routes will be R695 Kells road and the L1029 Rogerstown road.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. As this stretch of road is in particularly poor condition, it will be great to have it resurfaced.

This weekend for Kilmaganny Festival the shop will be down at the GAA Pitch on Saturday evening and Sunday Afternoon.
Exact times to follow

Please come down and join in all the fun - tickets needed for Sunday for the music event (or pay at the gate)

Please bring cash if possible (but there will be card payment option available)

Just a PSA to let our customers know,
From now on we will no longer be restocking Ci******es and Vapes. Once stock is gone that is it.

The HSE has introduced a new fee for the licence to sell Ci******es and Vapes and it’s €1800 per year. They will be chasing me for this money shortly for this year and then again in January for next year.

As a small business we cannot afford to pay that licence fee every year as we already make a minuscule profit on ci******es.

We hope you can understand that this has to be done to keep the shop open and that is our priority now!

Unfortunately the government is to blame for this so if you aren’t happy maybe go and have a chat to your local councillor about it as it’s out of our hands 👍🏼💙.
