What a fantastic day welcoming our local primary school .m.ciosog to our farm today on behalf of 💚🌱 🐄🥛

It was great having the next generation of farmers out on a real working farm, meeting the animals, asking questions and learning where their food comes from. 🐄🌾

A big thank you to Alma from for giving the children a really important farm safety talk before our walk around the farm.

Thanks to for their 5 star bus service ⭐

Experience, seeing ,touching will inspire a few future farmers today and bring back the connection of children to food and farmers.

Looking forward to our next school.

Monday morning deliveries 🥚🥚

Out delivering our Burren View Farm eggs to local coffee shops, restaurants and fruit & veg shops

There’s nothing more satisfying as a farmer and producer than seeing our food go straight from farm to fork, while being supported by local businesses. 🤝

This is what we need more of — local farmers, local food and local businesses supporting each other. 🇮🇪❤️

One act of kindness can spark generational renewal, inspire curiosity and help keep our young people connected to Irish agriculture. 🌱🇮🇪

Thank you, for such a simple but thoughtful gift for the girls.

Irish agriculture is about so much more than farming. It’s about the people we meet along the way — the people we learn from, who support us, encourage us and inspire us to keep farming.

Sometimes, a small gesture can make a big impression on a young mind.

If we want a strong future for Irish agriculture, we need to inspire the next generation, show them the opportunities that exist within our industry, and help them understand where their food comes from and the people who produce it

Generational renewal starts with connection, kindness and inspiration. 🌱🐄🇮🇪

This was without doubt one of the best events I was privileged to be part of this year.

A huge well done to Catherine & Damian Nugent, and the team at Nugent Trailers .ie for opening up their yard and creating such an empowering and practical day for women who wanted to learn more about trailers.

From Damien's demonstrations on how to look after, maintain and service a trailer, to the important safety checks when hitching and unhitching, the day gave women the opportunity to ask questions, get hands-on experience and build their confidence.

A special thank you to Garda ,who shared invaluable information on road safety and the rules and responsibilities around towing a trailer. Seán also brought his driving instruction expertise, giving everyone the opportunity to get behind the wheel, reverse a trailer and experience first-hand what is involved.

What made this day so special was the confidence that everyone took home. Women left Nugent's yard feeling empowered with the knowledge to walk into a yard, understand the language around trailers, ask questions with confidence and, for some, even feel inspired to pursue getting their driving licence.

It was an absolutely fantastic day of learning, encouragement and empowerment. Well done to everyone involved. Catherine, Damien and Nugent Trailers team, it is a real credit to what you have created and achieved.
