There are some photos I receive that mean more to me than I could ever put into words. 🤍
I received this beautiful photo and video today from as herself and her family were marking the first anniversary of the passing of their dad. She gave me permission to post.
And honestly… it touched me deeply.
I know I go on and on about why I love what I do, but this is exactly why. 🥹
Because grazing isn’t just about cheese, charcuterie and beautiful tables.
It’s about bringing people together.
It’s about sitting around a table with the people you love. Sharing food. Telling stories. Looking through old photographs. Remembering the person who should be sitting there with you. Laughing, crying, reminiscing and making new memories together.
The first of anything after losing someone you love can be incredibly difficult as many of us know too well. The first birthday. The first Christmas. The first anniversary. The first family gathering where their absence feels so incredibly present.
And looking at this beautiful setup, surrounded by photographs, candles, flowers and memories, I can see just how much love this family has for their dad. ❤️
To this family ,I hope you know how beautiful it is to see you honouring his memory and continuing to gather together.
I feel incredibly privileged that something I created was able to be a small part of such a meaningful day.
This is why I love grazing.
because food has a way of bringing people together.
And sometimes, a table can hold so much more than food. 🤍
Thank you for allowing The Cheesy Kiss to be a tiny part of your family’s memories. You all should be so proud
