A new cake inspired by Cielaviņa - one of my childhood favourites and a forever classic.

Think crisp hazelnut meringue with that delicate crackle, soft chocolate sponge, and silky chocolate diplomat cream layered into every bite.
Light, rich, crisp, smooth - all about the textures, all about the contrast.

Still in the making, but already impossible not to fall in love with. 🤎

2-tier cake for my daughter’s 25th birthday 💕🎂

I stepped a little outside my comfort zone with this one - my first time working with wafer paper ruffles… and let’s just say, there were definitely a few “learning moments” along the way 😅

Not everything went to plan, but I’m choosing to see every little mistake as part of the journey (and there were a few!). Still, I’m honestly so proud of how it turned out - especially those soft, delicate ruffles 🤍

Baking really does teach you patience… and how to improvise when things don’t quite behave!

Here’s to trying new things, learning as you go, and celebrating the people you love 💫
