An interesting day at Dairy Connect Event in today .Met lots of interesting people in the dairy industry & got to taste some lovely new & exciting cheeses as presented by their creators & .Comhgairdeachas to the organisers & to for doing such a good job as MC in Event Area 1 . Interesting developments also happening as outlined by Ella Ryan & by Deirdre Kennedy Moorepark .

Colum wakes up the Banner each weekday morning from 6 to 9am with a lively mix of laughs, competitions and regular guests. Siobhán will be on every day to talk about our goats, farming, business & of course our delicious 🧀 award winning cheese!

Just a typical day at St Tola! A beautiful cool and crispy start to the day, followed by new staff & cheese photos, a few visitors to the farm & anything & everything else in between! We never quite know what is going to happen here!

Delighted to find out from that not only did St Tola Karst win a SUPER GOLD at the World Cheese Awards in 2025 but we also won BEST IRISH 🧀 CHEESE!

We are really delighted & it's great validation for our little vibrant team!

Wow! Over the Moon this evening to receive the great news that our fabulous St Tola Karst has won a SUPER GOLD at the World Cheese Awards! 🥇

What is a Super Gold? So this year there were 5244 entries to the 2025 World Cheese Awards. Each cheese is awarded points on visual, body, aroma & taste (with the major points on taste) the top 110 rated cheeses are deemed to be SUPER GOLD 🥇🪙 so we are in the top 2%!!

This is fantastic validation for our small but dedicated team 😁 😜

Such a lovely evening last night at the launch of the Masa.Do check out what this wonderful lady is doing & support her .Was in great company with fellow hardworking producers & the movers & shakers of the Irish food industry including some young ones, who I hadn’t met before .Míle buíochas & Lily for the invite & to for the pre event cocktail & .🙏🤩

We are beyond delighted to have received this long awaited book this morning!
One Cheese to Rule Them All by Patrick McGuigan & Carlos Yescas.
Is there One Cheese to Rule us all? That's a great question & one that the two authors, both Word Cheese Award winning judges devoted many happy tastings & travels to find out. The book is described as a tour de force of 100 of the best cheeses in the world. Part handbook, part part travel guide & part food odyssey, 100 cheese from around the world.

We are over the moon to see that our fabulous St Tola Ash is also listed in such a prestigious line up of the worlds greatest cheeses!
