A busy few days on the farm.
All calves dehorned
A visit to the local school as part of Farm week to teach kids about animals and show them some calves
Bluetongue vaccines administered
Halter training of this year's calves started

An eye catching heifer with a legacy 🐂 On the rounds this morning it was hard not to notice Glengowla Elizabeth sired by Bova AI Sligo Valentino a very sweet heifer who's mother and sisters have gone on to achieve a lot on the show circuit as well as producing the goods in the herd.
Her dam Glengowla Valerie has been nothing short of a superstar when it comes to producing nice quality females with an abundance of milk.
