Yeesh... we were finally all set to open back up tomorrow but it looks like Mother Nature has other plans for us. Our tent can handle some wind and it can handle some rain, but strong gusts mixed with wet weather is just miserable and probably not very safe, so we're going to wait yet another week. Let's hope that goes according to plan, as the Page family is straight into the Christmas tree harvest the week after and we close for three weeks at that time every year!🌲🌲🌲
The second half of 2026 certainly has been a challenge for this small business, but we are looking forward to busier times to come.

I love refilling packages that still have the original price tags on them! By refilling these bags of cacao products instead of buying new, this customer saved €4.84 on just two items, as well as keeping the packets out of the bin and landfill. What's not to love about the refill system?! 💚

With sincere apologies for any inconvenience, I am delaying our date for returning to the village with the outdoor refill station. Recovery from a health issue is taking a little longer than expected and another week or two of rest and healing is the sensible way to go, even though we are impatient to be out and meeting with our customers face to face again! While I hope another week is all that is needed, I won't set a date yet but will let you know as soon as things are looking good for reopening.
In the meantime, Drop & Collect will continue to be available any day of the week. Thank you to everyone who has been availing of this service over the last few weeks, keeping stock moving and business ticking over! Your support means so much. 🙏💚♥️

Whenever I am in a large superstore, I take an opportunity to do some price checking to be sure I am offering fair prices on like-for-like items when you come to us for your refills. When I did this last week, even I was shocked at how much our customers can save! I looked at:

🔸️Lilly's Eco Clean toilet cleaner 750ml

🔸️Lilly's Eco Clean floor cleaner 750ml
🔸️Lilly's Eco Clean fabric softener 1L
🔸️Lilly's Eco Clean All Purpose Spray 500ml

If you buy these items in a large supermarket for the labelled prices pictured, you will spend €65.77.
Fill up the same amounts at Grangecon Store Cupboard, and you will spend €35.26‼️ More than €30 in savings! AND you are helping the planet by using more natural products and avoiding a build up of plastic containers. What a win!! 😃

Last week a palette of 33 empty, 25L containers of Lilly's Eco Clean products was collected and returned straight back to the Lilly's Eco Clean warehouse for recirculation. I LOVE being part of this fantastic circular economy where nothing is wasted. Thank you Lilly's Eco Clean for making it easy, and thank you to everyone who buys their products from me so that we can all work together to reduce household waste from empty cleaning bottles. 825L of cleaning product - that's a lot of bottles saved!!! 💛💚👏

I've decided to take a little break from the village tent for just a few weeks.

I took this picture to show how some people, if they can't make it to the stall very frequently, stock up once or twice a year. This customer comes every 7 or 8 months and gets enough liquid handsoap, shampoo and conditioner to last her until the next time.
It was a happy coincidence that I noticed a price tag on one of the bottles... the original, filled bottle cost this customer €8.75. Getting it refilled with the exact same product cost her €6.00. She is also saving on lots of empty bottles going into her recycling bin, and relieving a little of the plastic burden on our planet. What's not to love about refill?! 💚🌍❤️
