Delighted with this lady and how she had turned out she’s a chip off the old block just like her mother!

We said goodbye to our senior stock bull Cnocnaratha Leader over the weekend he had his work done here in the herd to great success with plenty of his daughters being retained in the herd. He threw some fantastic colours including some beautiful brindle heifers

He was completely free from the major bloodlines such as 001 and 136 so he was an outcross bull, thankfully though our two junior stock bulls are also completely free of these dominant bloodlines as well so we can continue to strive for as much genetic diversity as possible in our herd going forward

We haven’t quite nailed down the posing for a group photo yet but we will work on it!

Moving day for some of the herd to fresh grass

Growth has been great since we got a drop of rain so they were delighted with their new fresh grass

They are a dream to move around so quite and easy to manage an ideal suckler cow for farmers!

We will have a small selection of cows, incalf heifers and weaning heifers for sale soon so pm if you would be interested in adding some top quality Droimeann stock to your herds!

Another little lady who is shaping up nicely in this years crop of calves

She’s a real eye catcher and hopefully will make a nice cow in the future for the herd!
