It was great to finally meet Miriam and Rachel Hastings face to face at Tullamore Show
I've been following their Instagram page “Keeping Up With The Hastings” for a while now , and I truly enjoy their content. 👩‍🌾🐏

I was also very excited to have a conversation with their lovely parents, who were giving me some insights into sheep farming.

Peter and I were delighted to get a photo with Rachel and Miriam. They recently utilized the N.J. Philips drenching gun from Datamars Ireland, when giving the clear drench to their lambs for worming. The N.J Philips range from Datamars would be regarded as the Rolls-Royce of the dosing guns for livestock.

It was great to hear about the girls experiences and see their dedication to their farm. The whole family was incredibly warm and welcoming, and it was a pleasure to spend time with them.
I look forward to seeing what they get up to on instagram, keeping in touch and learning even more about their farming practices. 👩‍🌾🐏👩‍🌾🐏

I got to catch up with Kevin Hurley Killeagh, Co.Cork. 160 Tru-Test collars were installed for the Hurley's just at the beginning of their breeding season this year.

I checked back in today to see how the breeding season had got for them with the heat and health detection collars.

Our chat was kept very brief as they were super busy with silage. Kevin mentioned that the Tru-Test collars had been extremely helpful in monitoring the health and heat of their cowd during the breeding season.
They were able to quickly identify any issues and take necessary actions to ensure the well-being of their animals.

Kevin expressed his gratitude for the technology and how it had made their lives easier during this busy time.
I looked forward to catching up with him again and we will go into greater detail on conception rates.

Overall, it was great to hear that the collars had made a positive impact on their operation.

What an absolutely amazing day yesterday at the IHFA open day hosted by The Cedarmore Holstein herd operated by Bryan and John O'Connor.
Thank you to everyone that stopped by the Datamars stand.
It was great to see so many familiar faces and new faces stop by our stand to say hello.

The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as visitors explored the impressive displays of dairy cattle and learned more about the latest advancements in dairy farming. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals and share knowledge and experiences.

The Cedarmore Holstein herd truly showcased the passion and dedication that goes into breeding and raising top-quality dairy cattle. The O'Connor's commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of their operation, from the meticulous care of the animals to the state-of-the-art facilities.

Overall, it was a day filled with inspiration and camaraderie, and we are grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful event. Thank you to the IHFA for such a wonderful open day, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Good luck to the Lillis family in Meanus Co.
Limerick as they've just had 130 Tru-Test collars put on their cows yesterday by myself and Declan.

I'm excited to follow up with the Lillis family and see the impact of the Tru-Test heat and health detection collars on their breeding season.

This morning, the Bourke tamily in Barnane, Co.Tipperary had 130 Tru-Test collars 🐄🐄installed by myself, nice and early. 🌅
Following that, I managed to
capture some wonderful photos as the cows contentedly fed on grass in the sun, with the distinctive Devil's bit in view behind them.

This evenings installation took place in Killeagh, Co.Cork.
