It’s been a very busy year so far here at our Hop Farm in Roundwood with tree planting, beehive maintenance, and of course re-stringing our hops keeping us occupied.

Having re-strung eight different hop varietals in early April between the Hop Farm and the Hop Gardens at the brewery, we’re now looking ahead with optimism to a strong growing season over the Summer months. Beholden to nothing but the seasons and Mother Nature's will, we’re hopeful for a healthy crop when it comes to harvest time in the Autumn.

A BATCH MADE IN HEAVEN

At Wicklow Wolf, we believe that great beer can do great things. That’s why we’ve teamed up once again with our friends at Brennans Bread to create something truly special; Batch Brew.

This light, fruit-forward Pale Ale is brewed using Brennans Batch White Loaf, helping to reduce food waste one sip at a time. Crafted with sustainability at its core, we’ve partnered with ReWild Wicklow to plant native Irish trees in the Wicklow Mountains, with a contribution made for every pack sold.

Expect bright citrus notes, a crisp finish and a subtle bready backbone. A brew that’s good for the planet and great in the glass.

Happy World Environment Day from the Wicklow Wolf Hop Farm

Just over two months on from breaking ground on our Native Irish tree planting project, more than 5,500 saplings now stand across seven acres in the Wicklow Mountains.

As a B Corp certified company, we strive to make meaningful choices such as these; restoring biodiversity, supporting wildlife, and investing in a more sustainable future.
From Oak and Hazel to Scots Pine and Mountain Ash, this native woodland is already taking shape.

In time it will grow into something far bigger than Wicklow Wolf; a thriving ecosystem for generations to come.

It wasn’t the World Cup qualification we dreamt of, but the lads did us proud. It was great to see Heimir and Troy getting their hands on some of the limited edition Heimirken that we released after the heroics against Hungary.

Best of luck to the boys in green against Canada, we’ll be hoping for another Parrott hat trick and keeping an eye on fellow Wicklow native, Mason Melia after his recent International debut. COYBIG.

JUNE BANK HOLIDAY SOCIAL RUN

The Wicklow Wolf Running Club hit the trails in Trooperstown Woods yesterday evening, with runners covering 7km and 9km routes that showcased some of the hills and scenery our county has to offer.

Four years into building our club community, bringing together nearly forty runners on a bank holiday Friday for a relaxed, social run is quite special. We wrapped up the evening with some well earned Wicklow Wolf 0.5 beers.

Join the Wicklow Wolf Running Club on the trails

Fancy a Friday evening trail run? The Wicklow Wolf Running Club is back next week with a run through the beautiful Trooperstown Woods, Laragh on Friday, 29th May.

Whether you're new to trail running or more experienced, there are two guided options available: a 6km loop and a 9km loop. We’ll wrap things up afterwards with some refreshing Wicklow Wolf 0.5% beers.
