A small part of Operation POSTMASTER. A lot of detail.

Created with our friends at Challenge Coins UK, each Operation POSTMASTER edition includes its own individually numbered challenge coin.

The design reflects the story behind the release - Audacity. Deception. Precision. - and commemorates the Special Operations Executive, 80 years after its disbandment in 1946.

Around the edge, the words:

SET EUROPE ABLAZE

Each coin carries the same unique edition number as the bottle, booklet and Certificate of Authenticity - one number carried throughout the complete edition.

And for these photographs, there could really only be one:
080/220.

There is also one further detail hidden within the design, for those who know where to look.

Our thanks to Challenge Coins UK for helping us bring this part of the project to life.

The Last Sight of Home.

Another look at something we are quietly working on.

A 10 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Wh***ey.
36 individually numbered Black Alpha bottles.

There are still a few finishing touches to complete before we're ready to tell the full story.

Almost ready.

A step closer to reopening the doors.

Today we joined a small group of volunteers at War Years Remembered to help prepare the museum ahead of repair work beginning next week.

With a collection like this, that meant plenty of careful covering, moving and protecting exhibits so the work can get underway while keeping everything beneath it safe.

It was one of those days where everyone simply got stuck in, and it was great to see so many willing hands helping to move things another step forward.

After everything the museum has faced, seeing the building prepared and the repair work ready to begin feels like a significant milestone. There is still plenty to do, but the end is finally beginning to come into sight.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time today, and to all those who have donated, supported and helped War Years Remembered along the way.

The work doesn't end here. Further fundraising is still needed to complete the repairs and help get this remarkable collection back open and accessible to the public.

If you'd like to support the appeal, donations can be made through the War Years Remembered JustGiving page.

Every contribution helps.

A fantastic evening aboard HMS Caroline for the launch of The Shaw Cup 2027.

Black Alpha was delighted to be invited along to support the launch of The Shaw Cup, which will see The Ri**es take on REME in what promises to be a fantastic evening of Army boxing.

Against the remarkable backdrop of HMS Caroline, the launch was hosted by Pamela Ballantine MBE, with guests hearing more about the vision behind The Shaw Cup and the people working to bring it to life.

It was also a privilege to hear from Dame Mary Peters LG CH DBE, before a face-off in front of The Shaw Cup itself gave everyone a taste of what's to come.

Our contribution to the evening was a little simpler.

We brought the wh***ey.

Guests had the opportunity to sample a selection of the Black Alpha range throughout the evening, while we shared some of the stories behind what we're building.

A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing the launch together, including Cherton Secure, Connect Through Service , Arena Leadership Forum and Weir Events, and to everyone from British Army Boxing, The REME Charity, The Ri**es and Evolution Boxing Club who joined us on the evening.

A great launch, a fantastic setting, and we're looking forward to seeing The Shaw Cup build towards the main event.

Privileged to have been invited to showcase Black Alpha Irish Wh***ey at an RSM’s Dining-In Night.

Always a pleasure to share our wh***eys, but even better to have the opportunity to talk about the stories and people behind them.

The support we continue to receive from the serving military community has been genuinely humbling, and something we never take for granted.

A fantastic evening and a privilege to be part of it.
