We were so thrilled after our success at the National Ploughing Championships last week that we almost forgot to mention the rest of our prize winners!

Liss Murphy C512 and Liss Enzo C547 carried on from their successful show seasons so far. Liss Murphy C512 won the spring born bull class, while Liss Enzo C547 came second to him. The 2 bulls then came together to win the pairs class. These two boys will be sold in our Liss Select Sires Bull Sale which will take place in March 2027.

Murphy is a son of outcross AI sire Te Mania Nebo while his dam is Liss Mural W012 is a Mogeely Dreamer T534 daughter.

Enzo is a son of new herdsire, Baronagh Prince George while his dam is Liss Erica U791. Erica U791, a Liss Marty P417 daughter, is the dam of herd sire Liss Emotions W000 and one of last year’s show stars, Liss Eagle B470.

Liss Biluri C517 placed 2nd in the Spring-born heifer class, while Liss Patricia B485 was 3rd in the Autumn-born heifer class.

To top it all off, Rowan won the Junior stockman class and Cliodhna won the Senior class, both of which where very competitive classes! A hugely successful day on all fronts 💪

We had an incredible day yesterday winning All Ireland Supreme Champion at the Aberdeen Angus All Ireland Finals at the National Ploughing Championships in Tullamore.

Liss Mirti B492 won the autumn born heifer class and then junior champion, before being tapped out as the overall supreme champion on the day.

Liss Mirti B492 is one of the first cattle we have shown from our new herd sire Baronagh Prince George Y384, and her dam is Liss Mirti V902, a Liss Darl R561 daughter.

We are absolutely thrilled with the win and feel truly honoured!

The last time we managed this achievement was in 2019 at the All Irelands in Dualla show with Mogeely Dreamer T534.

A massive thanks to the Irish Aberdeen Angus Association for organising such a great event and to all their sponsors!

A big thanks to Caroline Morton from Keirsbeath Aberdeen Angus for deeming our Team worthy champions on the day!

Thanks very much to James Morrison for doing a super job as MC!

Thanks to Chloe Goggins livestock media for her help and patience when getting photos taken!

A huge thanks to everyone for all their well wishes and support!

Finally an absolutely massive thank you to everyone in Team Liss who made all this possible. We are blessed to have each and everyone of yous 😊
