Today we’re celebrating all the amazing mammies — the mums, grannies, nanny’s, stepmums, aunties, godmothers, foster mums, dog m**s, cat m**s and the soon-to-be mammies waiting to meet their little ones.

Thank you for the love, guidance, patience, advice, the lifts, the dinners and everything you do that often goes unseen.

We also want to send a special thought today to all the mammies in heaven who are loved, missed and remembered every day. Their love never leaves us and they will always hold a special place in our hearts. 🤍

Happy International Women’s Day 💜

Behind Brackens is a group of tough, hardworking, head-strong women who keep the place running every single day. From early mornings to busy rushes, they show up with determination, humour and a serious work ethic.

Like everyone, they all have their own challenges and things going on in life, but no matter what the day brings they still pull together, support each other and battle through it all.

There’s plenty of laughs, plenty of strong coffee, and somehow the shop is still standing by the end of the day 🤣

We’re very lucky to have such an incredible group of women here in Brackens, and today we celebrate them and all the amazing women in our community.
