๐ This one is personal to us. ๐
Many of you know us through BreaDelicious ๐ฅ๐พ โ our bread, our bakery and the work we do every day. But behind our little family business, there are also our own goals, challenges and dreams. โค๏ธ
This year, Jacek is taking on one of his biggest personal challenges yet โ the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026. ๐โโ๏ธ๐ฅ
Last year he completed his first half marathon. ๐
This year, he decided to go further: 42.195 km. ๐ช
But for Jacek, running has become about much more than distance.
๐ฏ It keeps him focused.
๐ It gives him purpose.
๐ฟ It helps him stay grounded and balanced.
๐ช And sometimes, it means fighting his own battles โ the ones nobody else can see.
Training. ๐ Early mornings. ๐
Tired legs. Pain. Doubt. And then getting up and doing it again. ๐ฅ
Because sometimes pushing your limits isn't really about proving something to other people.
It's about proving to yourself that you can. โค๏ธ
And this time, Jacek's personal challenge can also help someone else. ๐ค๐
He is running the Dublin Marathon for Depaul Ireland, supporting people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness. ๐ โค๏ธ
His fundraising target is โฌ1,000 and thanks to some wonderful people, โฌ600 has already been raised! ๐
We would absolutely love, as the BreaDelicious community, to help him reach the remaining โฌ400 before marathon day. ๐๐ช
