LAMBING FINISHED!!!

Last week, the remaining ewe that was left to lamb produced a nice, small ewe lamb. There were an stressful few weeks but this year's lambing is finished and we are happy with the way it went overall. Now we just need to keep taking good care of the lambs!!

MOTHER AND LAMB ARE DOING WELL.
The video shows the last ewe lamb we got a few days ago. A few people were kinda upset that the mother was rejecting the lamb just after being born, but as you can see she's taking good care of her. It's her first time lambing, so it just took a little bit of time to get used to it

A GIRL!
We got a nice single ewe lamb this afternoon. It's the first time lambing for this sheep and she is a bit unsure about the lamb yet, but hopefully she'll be a good mother.

BUSY NIGHT

We had a busy night (for our standards 😀😀) on Thursday, with two more sets of twins: 3 ewe lambs and a ram lamb. The two sheep that lambed were the two that started our flock. We got two pet lambs from Donegal and reared them from bottles. Since then, they have lambed 3 times, without any problems and twins every single time. Not bad.
