Valentia Island Vermouth is now available in the US 🗽

The first Irish vermouth, multi-award winning, top ten in the world and made here in Co. Kerry on the Wild Atlantic Way, has made its way over the Atlantic and landed on US soil 🥳

New York and Boston, you can now make all Irish Manhattans, Irish Negronis and Irish Martinis 🇮🇪 And just when you thought this day couldn’t get any better, you can also make a Valentia Spritz - Ireland’s answer to the spritz 🍹

Our deepest condolences to the O’Connell and Cooney families on June’s passing.

When we launched, June was very generous in letting us lease space at their Skellig Six18 Irish Whiskey distillery to get off the ground.

On behalf of us and the Valentia Island Vermouth team, may she rest in peace.

It’s Friday! Let’s make a Martini 🍸 AD

Put two martini glasses in the freezer
Get a big jug, fill it with ice and add:

35ml Valentia Island Vermouth
35ml Irish gin The Boatyard Distillery is delicious
A few dashes of orange Beara Bitters-Irish Cocktail Bitters
Stir until it’s too cold to hold
Strain into your chilled martini glasses
Serve with a twist of orange

We are making a Boulevardier! It’s like a negroni but made with Bourbon instead of gin.

25ml Valentia Island Vermouth
25ml Bourbon Whiskey
15ml Campari
Stirred and served with a lot of ice and garnish with a twist of orange

HOW DO YOU SPELL SBAGLIATO? I don’t know but I know how to drink it 🥃🤸🏻‍♀️👌 AD

This is a Negroni Sbagliato which is made with Prosecco rather than gin. Sbagliato means broken or mistaken. So from now as Gaeilge, this is called a Negroní Briste 🥃😆

You can build this in the glass. Get a tumbler, fill it with ice and add:
35ml Valentia Island Vermouth
35ml Campari
Topped up with Prosecco
Garnished with a slice of orange

ITS THE BANK HOLIDAY, It’s Easter and we are making a chocolate Negroni 🍫🍫🍫🍫 AD

Get a big jug, fill it with ice and add:
35ml Valentia Island Vermouth
35ml gin we used
35ml Campari
10ml chocolate liqueur
A few drops of chocolate bitters
Stir until it’s too cold to hold
Strain over ice and serve with a twist of orange

Oooooh the sun is shining! 🌞 AD We are and we have made a delicious Spritz taking inspiration from Paperwork 👏
Fill a glass with ice and add
35ml Valentia Island Vermouth
25ml Poitín
25ml Atlantic Dry
Topped with
A few drops of orange
Stir and garnish with thyme 🍹
