Today, on World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the extraordinary role teachers play in shaping brighter futures.
Aquatabs works with and supports teachers in communities where access to safe drinking water can meaningfully improve a child’s education. By helping to create healthier school environments, we can support teachers in doing what they do best: teaching, inspiring, and giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and build brighter futures.
When schools have reliable access to clean, safe water, children are healthier, miss fewer days, and can focus better on learning. In turn, teachers can spend more time teaching, students can spend more time in the classroom, and communities can build a stronger foundation for the future.
Access to safe water is not only a health issue. It is also an education issue, an equality issue, and an opportunity issue.
This World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the teachers who make such a lasting difference every day, and recognise that supporting education also means helping to create the safe, healthy conditions children need to stay in school and thrive.
