Basmati Modak Pith 500gms

How to prepare: Take water in a vessel and add 2 spoons of Ghee / Oil and salt for taste. Boil until it starts bubbling. Add an equal amount of Basmati Modak Flour to water. Mix it well & allow it to steam. In a meanwhile prepare fillings by taking Ghee, Jagerry, Coconut, Cardamom, Raisins, Cashew Nuts, and Poppy Seeds etc. Take steamed dough, knead it & bind it together. Prepare Modak / Karanji by filling up the mixture. Place them in a steamer for 10-15 mins. Modak’s are ready to serve.
(Note: Take 2 glasses (500ml approx.) of water for 500 grams of Basmati Modak Flour)

Vada Pith 500gms

How to prepare: Take instant ready Gharguti Vada flour using Luke warm water with salt as needed. Prepare dough and keep it on rest for minimum 2 hours. Grease your hands with little bit of Oil. Take a small portion of dough and make it round. Apply a few drops of oil on a plastic bag and place a dough ball on it. Now pat it evenly from all the sides to form a circle. Keep it a little bit on the thicker side. Dip it into hot oil and fry it nicely from both the sides until its Golden Brown. Take out a paper towel. Serve hot with Meat Curry or Sambhar Usual.
