Reintroducing myself here. A warm welcome to all new ones here. Thank you for being a part of community ❤️
If you're here then its for the same reason as me, for the love for food. I love posting easy, sometimes healthy recipes on my page that can help you make your meal times, effortless yet delicious.
I am a fashion graduate so when someone tells me that my feed is so aesthetic, you know where I get it from. I ventured into food writing in the 2019 & started my career as content writer in 2013. In between, i wrote content for various brands but food was always something that made me feel purposeful.
After I started working in the food space is where I learnt how to create video content, work with brands & take aesthetic food shots. My shots might not be extravagant with amazing props but balancing the negative space with the positive is how my click my shots.
I currently live in Bangalore. I'm a Leo so the moodiness and laziness is synonymous with me 😆 Currently, in pregnant mode. Enjoying this period of my life.
However, here I am on Instagram since a while but didn't get where I wanted to be in all these years of being here. It's disappointing but come 2024 & I still have hope for making it here. I believe honesty, consistency & love for food can get me there so I'll be here till I get to where I want to be. Creating content everyday of the week definitely can be excruciating but there are ways you can still be relevant:
1. Repurposing your content.
2. Sharing tempting small 6-7 second preview of video recipes.
3. Using all format accessible.
Being a scroller, 3 things that I've seen here are:
1. Often youre told to stick to Vertical videos instead of horizontal. I've seen creators who've always put horizontal videos and got an unimagined reach.
2. A lot of accounts repost content from other pages, I've seen them getting more reach than original content.
3. Static or small videos with some or the other opinion or feeling gets more reach than any combined effort to make content.
So, my point is if you are starting this journey and have a goal in mind, break rules. Be intuitive and learn from your mistakes more than anyone else's.
