Have you been to the newly opened in Lower Parel yet?

Madhuri and I hit up Vero on a weekday afternoon to try a couple of their new menu items. Turns out she’s never been to Veronica’s before. So while we tried the new sandwiches like the Frenchie Banh Mi and Godfather we had to get the classic Veronica’s Smashburger as well.

For both the smash burger and Godfather sandwiches, no notes. The banh mi croissant version for me was great barring the umami sauce which was just too spicy and overpowering everything. As someone who loves a good banh mi I need that chicken liver pate and regular mayo in it. But as their version it’s fine.

We also tried 3 desserts and they were all good but our fav was the Bailey’s Rocher Cake slice. The Not Avo Toast soft serve was super interesting and even the soy caramel soft serve was nice.

Overall the new Vero is excellent and a must visit. Cheers & Keep Eating!

Have you visited Zaro Bakehouse in Bandra yet?

They have recently re-opened and are serving up lots of exciting desserts. Whether you love chocolate or have a more fruity palate, they got you covered. They have everything from seasonal mango specials (grab them before the season ends) to classics like the basque cheesecake and tiramisu. And if you need some savoury to cut the sweets, they got you covered.

Zaro also does custom cakes, gift hampers and much much more. So if you're in Bandra, drop in and pay them a visit. And if you don't feel like stepping out you can order on the delivery apps. So check it out and let me know what you think.

Unagi +Foie Gras Nigiri at Gaijin
Siphon Doughnut with Chutoro and 5g caviar (most expensive bite I've had in a long time) try and guess the price. Also at Gaijin.
Chicken Liver pate at Boojee café for breakfast today. Wasn't on my 2026 bingo card to see liver pate on the Boojee menu but so happy it is there.

This week it’s back to ordering at home because the Nino Burger Malad outlet seems to have shut down so they battle another cloud kitchen brand called Smackin Burgers. Who will win?

and I hit up to celebrate 23 years of being together.

We normally always end up at Izumi to celebrate as it’s our fav spot but today we walked up and went past straight to Idoru. As always we were welcomed and taken great care of. Had a fun night and as always is the most gracious host. The food by .izumi is always top notch.
