Kashmiri Chai | Pink Tea | Noon Chai
mentioned the noon chai yesterday and it’s been a hot minute since I made it, so off to the kitchen I headed!
A perfect winter tea, the kashmiri pink tea is served hot with a sprinkling of slivered nuts.
The pink colour comes from the chemical reaction between the green tea leaves and baking soda. Apart from the colour, it’s also unique because it’s seasoned with salt, not sugar.
