In 2012, Ajay, A Rajasthani MBA graduate, moved to Bangalore in search of new beginnings. New city, new job, new cuisine—yet he deeply missed the bold, fiery taste of authentic Rajasthani pickles made by his grandmother. By day, immersed in resumes and interviews; by night, he longed for the comforting flavours of home, especially his mother’s pickles. After searching high and low without success,

a thought took root: If I can’t find the taste of Rajasthan, "Why don't make my own? Life’s demands put the dream on hold, but some flavours never fade. In 2023, after 11 years in the city, Ajay finally decided to act. What began as a craving became a mission—to bring the authentic taste of Rajasthan to every home that misses it. He went back to his village in Rajasthan to learn from his grandmother. He spent months with her, learning all her traditional recipes for different types of pickles. Now in 2025, He wants to bring the true taste of Rajasthan to everyone in Bangalore who misses it, just like he did. And so, HR Achaar Wala was born, blending Ajay’s professional roots in HR with his love for handcrafted Rajasthani flavours.
