Breakfast today :
Pazhaya Sadam Kanji (fermented rice Porridge). It becomes so delicious when served with condiments.

It was served with our own ( Parul’s Magic) Green chili pickle, Maavadu ( pickle made of fermented baby mangoes - and this particular one was made for my grandkids without chili), Fresh turmeric and amba haldar pickle and sprinkled with our go to curry leaves podi.

The left over rice is fermented overnight in water and salt for 8 to 10 hrs. It is nutrient rich and a natural probiotic.

Today’s Breakfast :

Paniyaram made from left over Idly batter and beans carrot Poriyal from yesterday’s lunch.

* Added Barnyad millet flour.
* Take 1 small onion, 1 cup carrot bean poriyal, 1 green chili, small piece of fresh turmeric, ginger in a chopper and chop finely
* adjust the salt and mix everything well.
* Heat appe pan and make it.
