Zoya, the luxury jewellery brand, recently held a launch event for its new collection, "Whispers from the Valley," at The Leela Hyderabad on Thursday, September 5, 2025. The event showcased Zoya's contemporary designs inspired by Kashmir's nature and was attended by notable personalities, including brand ambassador actress Sonam Kapoor.
We were fortunate to showcase kashmiri Pandit Cuisine for the event on their gala launch of Whispers from the valley at Leela Hyderabad. We had a good gathering of 200+ eminent guests. It was macro meals with floating service. The service and Kitchen Teams from Leela Hyderabad were at their top notch level to provide all essential services. We would like to thank the entire team of Hyderabad Leela for their support and great showman skills to make this event a gala success.

For Kashmiri pandits, the festival of Pann is celebrated on Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Tchoram in Kashmiri. Today when most of the devotees bring Bappa idols home, most Kashmir Pandits offer prayers to the Beeb Garab Maej and Ganpati ji. Pann (literally meaning thread) is a festival originally associated with the spinning of newly produced cotton and worshipping the twin agricultural goddesses Vibha and Garbha to whom Roth were offered.

Rubus ellipticus, commonly known as Hisar in Uttrakhand is a yellow colored small fruit which can be found mostly in summers in both Kumaon and Garhwal regions of Uttarakhand. It is also called as golden evergreen raspberry, golden Himalayan raspberry, or yellow Himalayan raspberry. It is said to have a sweet and sour flavor plus a heating potency. Juice of the fruit is used in the treatment of fever, colic, coughs and sore throat. The fruits have been found to rich in nutrients such as crude protein, carbohydrates , crude fiber and also minerals as calcium, magnesium, potassium and phosphorus.

Bauhinia... KACHNAR as called in India, is a small to medium-sized tree growing to 10–12 metres (33–39 ft) tall, deciduous in the dry season. The leaves are obcordate shaped, long and broad, rounded, and bilobed at the base and apex. The flowers are conspicuous, bright pink or white with five petals. Kachnar is a local name in India for the edible buds collected from the tree. It is widely used as an ingredient in many subcontinent recipes. kachnar buds can be made into a curry, stir-fried vegetable or even made as an achaar, a pickle in many parts of the India. The flowers can be made into raita as well.
In Ayurveda, It Is Considered A Tree With Very Miraculous And Medicinal Properties. Kachnar Flowers And Buds Are Especially Beneficial For Rheumatism, Joint Pain. The Bark Of Kachanar Is Also Used To Smel The Lump Formed In Any Part Of The Body. Apart From This, Its Bark Is Also Very Useful In Blood Disorders And Skin Diseases Such As Ringworm, Itching, Eczema, Boils And Pimples Etc.
KACHNAR also help in controlling blood sugar.
The taste of KACHNAR is Sweet, Astringent and Sour. The main elements of kachnar are a number of essential minerals in addition to vitamin C.
