Food Review!
At Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor in Hatibagan, I did dine,
A feast of flavors, simply divine!
The Bhetki Macher Bangla Fish Fry—crispy and bright,
Though a bit chhoto (ছোট), it was pure delight!
Next, the Sundi Rajar Thali arrived with a flair,
A platter so regal, with food beyond compare.
The Chhoto Fish Fry—a crunchy treat,
But the Bhooter Pora Kalo Khasir Mangsho? Slightly incomplete.
Ektu bhalo hote parto (একটু ভালো হতে পারতো), I must confess,
Though the Gobindo Bhog Chaler Polao was nothing but finesse!
Then came the Amlokir Thali—vegetarian bliss,
With dal, bhaja, and sukto, a warm hug you can’t miss.
Chutney, papad, crisp and fun,
And misti doi (মিষ্টি দই), oh! A sweet run.
The Kochi Pathar Jhol—rich and full,
Ektu alpo jhol-e (একটু আলপো ঝোলে), it warmed my soul.
Though portions were chhoto, flavors stood tall,
The ambiance and porisheba (পরিষেবা)? Top-notch, y'all!
For a taste of Bengal, ghostly but grand,
Hatibagan’s Bhooter Raja is where you should stand!
