🍜 Soy Yum, Hindustan Park – Foodie Review🍹
Last evening’s food journey took me to Soy Yum in Hindustan Park — and it was a mixed bag in the best way possible.If you’re craving Japanese/Korean vibes in Kolkata, this place should be on your radar!
What stood out:
*The ramen bowl 🍜was a star — rich, creamy broth, perfectly soft boiled egg, leafy greens, and the flavour punch you want in every slurp.
* The gyoza 🥟 had golden crisp edges and great texture. A delight if you like some crunch with your dumplings.
* Drinks? 🥤 They bring the fun. Whipped cream, pretty colours, refreshing flavours — perfect for sipping between bites.
* Ambience & service get applause too. Even when it was crowded, staff seemed polite and tried hard to recommend, assist, and keep things moving.
What could be better:
* On busy nights (especially weekends), things slow down. Several people have reported long wait times, delays, and some items not arriving on time.
* Some dishes, especially starters, occasionally lack punch or seem a bit rushed. Not bad — just inconsistent.
* Price is on the steeper side for some items; you pay for the experience, presentation, and ambience.
