Delighted to have encountered Mr. Umender Dutt, the Executive Director at Kheti Virasat Mission, a pioneering force in The Movement for Natural Farming and Ecological Restoration of Punjab. His dedication to promoting Organic Farming in Punjab is truly commendable. KVM stands shoulder to shoulder with farmers, actively involved in disseminating and advocating natural farming practices. Overcoming the entrenched avarice that accompanied the Green Revolution has been an arduous journey, but KVM has consistently faced these challenges head-on.
Rather than simply preaching techniques, our approach has been to forge genuine connections with farmers, treating them as integral members of our extended family. We don't just work alongside them; we become companions on their journey towards sustainable agriculture. Our guiding philosophy aligns with Fukuoka's principle – "The ultimate goal of farming is not the growing of crops, but the cultivation and perfection of human beings." This ethos underscores our commitment to holistic and harmonious farming practices that prioritize not just the land but the well-being and growth of the individuals who cultivate it.
