Not that Bombay is freezing like many other places. But still chilly for a lot of us here.
Some home made comforting gajar ka halwa for some warmth made at home.
Since it’s made at home, you can add the sweetness and fat to your liking. We made it keeping everyone’s dietary requirements in mind. Nonetheless, rich in vitamins,etc.
Till we see spring again. Keep yourself warm with this immunity safekeeping halwa

Dinner was a fusion or all Asian elements. Had got a Thai stir fry sauce as a gift. Had a very hectic day, so the rest of the ingredients just popped out of the pantry and the fridge.
Stir fried the veggies (pok choy, carrots,beans,broccoli) with garlic & spring onions. Added a tablespoon of white sesame with the stir fried sauce. Sautéd the egg rolls in a little chilli crisp oil and added to the mix.
Had Ramen noodles stocked thanks to Dubai family. Tossed it in. Topped it with fresh spinach and some more sauce.
The sauce was very flavourful, just too oily for my liking. Took some effort to drain out the oil before using the main sauce. But absolutely worth it for a quick fix meal.
Specially if you are packing it with veggies and egg rolls made on a non stick pan.
