Raw and Real while quite literally too. It dint live upto all the hype created. About six plates already ordered and one drink to mention as satisfactory. The others were a bit of a spoiler for me.

1. Lamb brain (the good part ) with Bengali Dijon (fancy) could have just been kasundi but anyway was the only saviour with over salty crab and bread absolutely disappointing. (4.5/10)

That set to the tone to a very average next course .

2. Quail Eggs

Pretentiously sizzling in a panniyaram pan with a regular homemade prep. (4/10)

3. Swiss 🇨🇭 Cheese 🧀 ravioli absolutely salty and again disappointing. (2/10)

As if this was not enough that we went with some over compensated fairly ordinary mushroom pasta 🍝

Adding to the boredom it added to cocoa tiramisu (3/10) lacking innovation or taste. Tried very very hard to turn the table with tea flavoured ice cream. Did not help.

Anyway may still give another “try” with more on the menu and perhaps breakfast if at all. Maybe 🤔

You shall know.

Until then thankyou fusion salty food and over priced cramped fine dine experience.

this has been on my mind ever since the soft launch. Although I wanted to try the entire menu. The solo me settled with a simple brown butter cappuccino plus butter (flavour) croissant. 🥐 it was simple and delightful. The crowded minimalistic french themed cafe kept the decor and the menu basic and classic. kept up the name and literally said Qui to everything.

Will be back to try savoury but this time we kept it basic and simple with the bare minimum.

I also took a takeaway of chia- misu ( not on the review yet ) still to try.

Does anyone in Mumbai even come close to the Classic Masala Benne Dosa . Well you know the answer so do I .
Classic Benne Masala is all time favourite and evergreen ever since the start of Benne Heritage journey with .bombay and .

Although this time around I went to try the new menu or rather add in’s.

On Mealovermyplate was -

1. Mangalore Buns (new) (pic 4&5)
2. Akki Riti (pic 6)
3. Donne Pulao (pic 7)

With .bombay for me the star has always been the chutneys (all 3) but biased towards tomato one. It’s been my personal favourite and I would give no hoots to say it’s the best it serves. Moving to the classic masala benne dosa is what .bombay stands for and it stands tall as a signature dish even today.

Mangalore Bun (could not even finish one being the heaviest and perhaps the tasty variant add on to my menu.

Next was Akki Roti which was crispy and had cumin seeds cover on the outside making it a delectable combo with mouth watering chutney.

Third was the Donna Pulao though a bit average is a good addition to all dosa a idli menu giving it a bit diversity.

We paid a total 570/- inclusive of taxes and 30/- for packaging.

Our reviews are unbiased and absolutely done by us unilaterally. We did not paid for this review. This is our review for the love for food .bombay .

If I could ever pick the best dimsums and the yummiest char siu in the city it would be . The food has no complaints and every dish is a delight in itself. From entres, hors d’ oeuvres, and deserts everything is on point and best for the record doesn’t need any constructive feedback or criticism. It’s impressed me always. Hope it does impress you too.

Meanwhile check out the tempting pictures.
