OMOFoodies is a attempt to salute the chef in all of us. Food evokes so many emotions within each one of us. And well, cooking is the means to this end. Many folks say cooking is not for them. But that is not because they don't like it. In my opinion, they haven't discovered the feeling of accomplishment for their efforts. if all you can make is an omlette, and someone just raves about it, I bet y
ou'd make it again and again till all your friends started avoiding you :)
here's another one..why do you think our Moms were never excited cooking day to day food? Because nobody (including us), frigging appreciated it! And why do you think they were so happy during special occasions, humming as they rolled laddus, or frying bhaturas with a spring in their step, cooking for the whole family and even at times the neighbors! I remember there were days in the year (during winters) when my mom made gobhi parathas for 3 neighboring families! And I’d carry the dabbas to them, basking in the glow of their comments like "ba! ki Daroon!" ( i.e amazing). Thus, a little bit of encouragement goes a long way. And that's what we aim to do at OMO Foodies. OMO stands for "On My Own" and 'OMO Foodies' is a community platform where people like you and me come together and share our amateur, made with love creations. And we promise to encourage you all the way, be it an omelette, a salad, smoothie, cookie, cake OR even your daily dal or Roohafza with a twist! Of course, you can also share an original family recipe or an improvisation. If you are doing an exact ex*****on of someone's published recipe, pls try and paste a link ( below your photo and descriptor) to the original site so they get the eyeballs. Lastly, 'OMO Foodies' is not responsible for any copyright infringements and/or breech of propriety and hopes its contributors will participate responsibly.
