This place is located in the narrow streets and is way too old shop (serving since almost 1950s). They serve jalebi and gulab jamun. Their jalebi is really tasty and their Gulab Jamun is just out of this world. Mouth watering. Their gulab jamun’s just melts in the mouth.

The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre took place on April 13, 1919, in Amritsar, Punjab, when British troops led by Brigadier-General Reginald Dyer opened fire on a peaceful, unarmed gathering of thousands of Indians celebrating the Baisakhi festival and protesting the oppressive Rowlatt Act. Dyer blocked the only narrow exit of the walled garden and ordered continuous firing for about 10 minutes, killing hundreds of innocent people—with Indian estimates placing the death toll over 1,000—and wounding more than 1,500. This horrific brutality shocked the nation, prompted Rabindranath Tagore to renounce his British knighthood, and served as a critical turning point that permanently unified and accelerated India's struggle for independence.

जलियनवाला बाग हत्याकांड १३ एप्रिल १९१९ रोजी अमृतसर, पंजाब येथे घडला, जेव्हा ब्रिगेडियर-जनरल रेजिनल्ड डायर यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील ब्रिटीश सैन्याने बैसाखी सण साजरा करण्यासाठी आणि दचकवणाऱ्या रौलट कायद्याचा निषेध करण्यासाठी जमलेल्या हजारो शांतताप्रिय, निःशस्त्र भारतीयांवर अंदाधुंद गोळीबार केला. डायरने या बंदिस्त बागेचा एकमेव अरुंद रस्ता रोखला आणि सुमारे १० मिनिटे सतत गोळीबार करण्याचा आदेश दिला, ज्यामध्ये शेकडो निष्पाप लोकांचा मृत्यू झाला—भारतीय अंदाजानुसार मृतांची संख्या १,००० हून अधिक होती—आणि १,५०० हून अधिक लोक जखमी झाले. या भीषण क्रूरतेने संपूर्ण देशाला हादरवून सोडले, ज्यामुळे रवींद्रनाथ टागोर यांनी आपल्या ब्रिटिश 'नाईटहुड' (Knighthood) पदवीचा त्याग केला आणि हा प्रकार भारताच्या स्वातंत्र्यलढ्याला कायमचे एकत्रित आणि गती देणारा एक महत्त्वपूर्ण टर्निंग पॉईंट (निर्णायक वळण) ठरला.

Undoubtedly Best kulcha of Amritsar. Their Masala kulcha and normal kulcha both are very delicious and gives perfect taste. Taste of the chana were also soulful.We fully enjoyed the taste . Would definitely visit this again and again whenever we will visit Amritsar.This place is located at old area but they maintain cleanliness.
