कोथळीगड (ज्याला 'पेठचा किल्ला' म्हणूनही ओळखले जाते) हा महाराष्ट्रातील रायगड जिल्ह्यातील कर्जतजवळ असलेला एक ऐतिहासिक ३,१०० फूट उंच डोंगरी किल्ला आहे, जो त्याच्या वैशिष्ट्यपूर्ण शंकूच्या आकाराच्या सुळक्यासाठी आणि अंतर्गत कोरलेल्या दगडी पायऱ्यांसाठी प्रसिद्ध आहे. ट्रेकिंगसाठी हा किल्ला सोपा ते मध्यम काठीण्य पातळीचा असून, अंबिवली या पायथ्याच्या गावापासून वर पोहोचण्यासाठी साधारण २ ते ३ तास लागतात. पावसाळ्यात येथील हिरवळ आणि धबधब्यांमुळे, तर हिवाळ्यात रात्रीच्या कॅम्पिंगसाठी हा ट्रेकर्समध्ये प्रचंड लोकप्रिय आहे. सुळक्याच्या पायथ्याशी प्राचीन भैरोबा गुहा आहे, तर किल्ल्याच्या शिखरावरून पदरगड आणि भीमाशंकर यांसारख्या पश्चिम घाटातील नजीकच्या डोंगररांगांचे विहंगम दृश्य दिसते.

Kothaligad, also known as Peth Fort, is a historic 3,100-foot hill fort located near Karjat in Maharashtra’s Raigad district, famous for its unique conical pinnacle and internal stone staircase. With an easy-to-moderate difficulty level, the trek takes roughly 2 to 3 hours starting from the base village of Ambivli and is highly popular during the monsoon for its lush greenery and waterfalls, as well as winters for overnight camping. At the base of the pinnacle lies the ancient Bhairoba Cave, while the summit offers sweeping panoramic views of the Western Ghats, including nearby peaks like Padargad and Bhimashankar.

This place is located in the narrow streets and is way too old shop (serving since almost 1950s). They serve jalebi and gulab jamun. Their jalebi is really tasty and their Gulab Jamun is just out of this world. Mouth watering. Their gulab jamun’s just melts in the mouth.
