Chicken Fry Recipe (Indian Style)
Ingredients
Chicken – 500 g (small pieces)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1½ tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Lemon juice / vinegar – 1 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Cornflour / rice flour – 2 tbsp (for crispiness)
Oil – for shallow/deep frying
Curry leaves – few (optional)
Method
Step 1: Marination
Mix chicken with:
Ginger-garlic paste
Red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder
Garam masala, salt
Lemon juice
Cornflour
Marinate 30 minutes (even 10 min works for bachelors).
Step 2: Frying
Heat oil in a pan.
Add curry leaves (optional).
Add marinated chicken pieces one by one.
Fry on medium flame, turning sides, till golden & crisp.
Remove on tissue paper.
Optional South-Indian Touch
After frying:
In same pan add little oil
Add chopped garlic + green chilli
Toss fried chicken for 1–2 minutes

Onion rings

Green chutney
Tips
✔ Don’t overcrowd pan
✔ Medium flame = juicy chicken

Bachelor Chicken masala Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken – 500 g
Onion – 2 medium (chopped)
Tomato – 1 large (chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Green chilli – 1 (optional)
Oil – 3 tbsp
Water – as needed
Salt – to taste
Basic Masale
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1½ tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Method (One-Pan Cooking)
Heat oil in a pan or cooker.
Add onions → fry till light brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste & green chilli → sauté till smell goes.
Add tomatoes → cook till soft & oil separates.
Add turmeric, chilli, coriander powder & salt → mix well.
Add chicken → fry 5–7 minutes till chicken changes color.
Add 1–1½ cups water → cover and cook:
Pan: 20–25 min on medium
Pressure cooker: 2 whistles
Open lid → add garam masala → cook 2 more minutes.
Ready to Serve
Serve hot with:
Rice 🍚
Roti / Paratha 🫓

Chicken Biryani Recipe
Ingredients
For Chicken Marination
Chicken – 1 kg (medium pieces)
Curd (yogurt) – 1 cup
Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 2 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
Fried onions (birista) – ½ cup
Fresh coriander & mint leaves – 1 cup (chopped)
👉 Mix everything well and marinate for at least 1 hour (overnight best).
For Rice
Basmati rice – 3 cups
Water – plenty
Bay leaf – 2
Green cardamom – 4
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 1 inch
Salt – to taste
👉 Boil rice till 70% cooked. Drain and keep aside.
For Biryani Masala / Cooking
Oil + ghee – 4 tbsp
Onions – 3 large (thinly sliced)
Green chillies – 3–4 (slit)
Ginger juliennes – 1 tbsp
Saffron milk / Kesar milk – ¼ cup (optional)
Rose water or kewra water – 1 tbsp (optional)
Method
Step 1: Prepare Chicken
Heat oil + ghee in a heavy-bottom pan.
Add sliced onions and fry till golden brown.
Add green chillies & ginger juliennes.
Add marinated chicken and cook on medium flame for 10–12 minutes till chicken is 80% cooked and oil separates.
Step 2: Layering
On the chicken, spread a layer of rice.
Add fried onions, mint, coriander.
Drizzle saffron milk & rose/kewra water.
Repeat layers (rice + toppings).
Step 3: Dum Cooking
Cover tightly with lid (seal with dough if possible).
Cook on low flame for 20–25 minutes.
Switch off flame and rest for 10 minutes.
Step 4: Serve
Gently mix from sides and serve hot with:
Raita
Onion salad
Lemon wedges
Tips for Perfect Biryani
✔ Use long grain basmati rice
✔ Don’t overcook rice
✔ Marination time = better taste
✔ Dum on low flame only

Gajar ka Halwa Recipe (Traditional Desi Style)
Ingredients:
Gajar (carrot) – 1 kg (red carrots best)
Full cream milk – 1 liter
Sugar – ¾ cup (taste ke according)
Desi ghee – 4–5 tbsp
Khoya (mawa) – 150–200 g (optional but tasty)
Dry fruits – kaju, badam, kishmish (chopped)
Elaichi powder – ½ tsp
Method:
Gajar tayaar karein
Gajar ko achhe se dho kar peel karein aur medium grate kar lein.
Milk ke saath pakayein
Heavy kadai me grated gajar aur milk daal kar medium flame par pakayein.
Beech-beech me chalate rahein jab tak milk pura soak ho kar gajar soft na ho jaye.
Ghee daalein
Ab ghee daal kar 5–7 min bhunein jab tak achhi khushboo aane lage.
Sugar milayein
Sugar daal kar mix karein. Thoda pani chhodega, usse dry hone tak pakayein.
Khoya & dry fruits
Ab khoya, dry fruits aur elaichi powder daal kar achhe se mix karein.
5 min aur bhunein.
Serve karein
Garam-garam gajar ka halwa serve karein 😍
(Ice cream ya malai ke saath aur bhi tasty lagta hai)
Tips:
Zyada rich taste ke liye sugar ki jagah jaggery (gud) bhi use kar sakte hai
Slow flame par banaya halwa zyada tasty hota hai.

Pudina – 1 cup (tight bhara hua)
Hara dhania – ½ cup
Hari mirch – 1–2
Adrak – 1 inch
Imli ka pulp – 2 tbsp
Kala namak – 1 tsp
Bhuna jeera powder – 1 tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Namak – taste ke hisaab se
Pisi hui kali mirch – ½ tsp
Thanda pani – 3–4 cup
Boondi – 2 tbsp (optional, taste badhata hai)
🟢 Pani Banane ka Tarika
Pudina, dhania, hari mirch aur adrak ko thoda pani dal kar fine paste bana lo
Is paste ko ek bade bowl me nikalo
Ab imli pulp, sare masale aur thanda pani milao
Achhe se mix karo
30 min ke liye fridge me rakh do (taste double ho jata hai)
🟡 Aloo Filling (Stuffing)
Ingredients:
Uble hue aloo – 3 (mashed)
Uble safed chane / kala chana – ½ cup
Pyaz – 1 chhota (finely chopped, optional)
Hara dhania – 2 tbsp
Hari mirch – 1 (finely chopped)
Namak – taste ke hisaab se
Lal mirch powder – ½ tsp
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Nimbu ras – 1 tsp
Method:
Sab ingredients ko achhe se mix kar lo
Filling zyada sukhi bhi nahi aur zyada geeli bhi nahi honi chahiye
