Chicken Fry Recipe (Indian Style)
Ingredients
Chicken – 500 g (small pieces)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1½ tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Lemon juice / vinegar – 1 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Cornflour / rice flour – 2 tbsp (for crispiness)
Oil – for shallow/deep frying
Curry leaves – few (optional)
Method
Step 1: Marination
Mix chicken with:
Ginger-garlic paste
Red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder
Garam masala, salt
Lemon juice
Cornflour
Marinate 30 minutes (even 10 min works for bachelors).
Step 2: Frying
Heat oil in a pan.
Add curry leaves (optional).
Add marinated chicken pieces one by one.
Fry on medium flame, turning sides, till golden & crisp.
Remove on tissue paper.
Optional South-Indian Touch
After frying:
In same pan add little oil
Add chopped garlic + green chilli
Toss fried chicken for 1–2 minutes

Tips
✔ Don’t overcrowd pan
✔ Medium flame = juicy chicken
✔ Rice flour = extra crunch
