s located in the peaceful countryside of Anagni, a small medieval town in the south of Rome, at 30km from Frosinone. Famous for it's history and in one hundred years, Anagni produced four popes. That is where the name Corte dei Papi was born - directly translated as Court of the Popes. Gaining ground on the more famous, Chianti, Montepulciano regions, Cesanese del Piglio is proving to be one of the best Italian wines available of the Lazio region and beyond. Corte dei Papi was founded in 2005 by the Di Cosimo family, an entrepreneurial family with years of experience within the wine industry. However, the land has been part of the family for decades and finally the fruits of years of hard work are now available in the form of 6 special wine bottles and an estate of approximately 190 hectares.
