Here we go! It’s officially harvest time! We are starting with our Freisa this year and it’s 2 weeks earlier then the last vintage.

Our Arneis looking beautiful these days! Harvest is coming closer and we are happy that our fresh exposition here in Barbaresco is helping tremendously keeping our grapes in great state despite lack of water and ongoing heat! We are excited to make this into our Langhe Bianco!

Update from our Freisa at Sarasino. These days we are green harvesting our Freisa and in the meantime the excavator is preparing the soil for a new extension of our Freisa vineyards. Freisa has always been a small but very much loved project and we were always short on bottles to share with you. This extension will mean more availability for all the Freisa lovers out there!

Spring is just around the corner and the pace in the vineyards is starting to rise, as we have to finish the preparations for the new growing season.
We are investing this year in a wire system for keeping our vines well supported without using the ropes that were not sustainable at all. We cannot implement it yet everywhere just because of lack of time but slowly, slowly we will! It is a long process, definitely not romantic at all, but with very satisfying results. The vineyards are our most important asset and they just deserve the best!
