PASSATO
IGT Terre Siciliane Rosso
Il tempo che ha già lasciato il segno.
Quello che nasce da radici profonde e non ha fretta di parlare.
PASSATO nasce a Castiglione di Sicilia, in Contrada Trinità, da vigne ad alberello impiantate nel 1890, su suoli sabbiosi di origine vulcanica.
Pochi ceppi, basse rese, un solo vitigno: Nerello Mascalese.
Fermenta lentamente, macera a lungo sulle bucce, poi riposa 12 mesi in barrique di rovere francese.
Il tempo, qui, non è un dettaglio: è parte del carattere.
Nel calice è rosso rubino con venature granato.
Al naso emergono frutti rossi, prugna e susina, seguiti da spezie e lievi cenni di tabacco.
Al palato è fresco, con tannino morbido e una persistenza lunga, profonda, consapevole.
PASSATO è il vino della memoria viva.
Non racconta ciò che è stato per nostalgia,
ma per ricordarci da dove veniamo.

The time that has already left its mark.
The one born from deep roots, with no need to rush its story.
PAST is born in Castiglione di Sicilia, Contrada Trinità, from old bush-trained vines planted in 1890, on volcanic sandy soils.
Few vines, low yields, a single grape variety: Nerello Mascalese.
It ferments slowly, with long maceration on the skins, then rests for 12 months in French oak barriques.
Here, time is not a detail—it is part of the wine’s identity.
In the glass, it shows a ruby red color with garnet hues.
On the nose, red fruits, plum and damson emerge, followed by spicy notes and subtle hints of tobacco.
On the palate, it is fresh, with soft tannins and a long, lingering, mindful finish.
PAST is a wine of living memory.
It does not look back out of nostalgia,
but to remind us where we come from.
