The 'Italian' food in the states is so bad, it isn't Italian food it is American food, one of the issues is that Amercians with Italian grandparents class themselves as Italian so think they know about Italian food but nothing is further from reality.
If you are born in the USA you are American, you are not Italian just becuase your grandparents were Italian and so you have an Italian surname.
America could never produce food fit for an Italian to eat, even if they stopped with the ridiculous processed sauces, obese portions and and dumb dishes like 'Chicken Alfredo' the raw ingredients are all full of toxins and pesticides so it is physically impossible to produce Italian food in the states. How can you cook any decent food when the ingredients are so flawed, why does the American government continue to allow such produce to be sold, poisoning it's people, why? ... greed and money, cheaper food has to have all this crap in to keep it longer.
The situation is so bad now that when Amercians travel to other countries they find the food bland because of the lack of flavour enhancers, MSG, transfat, sugar, etc. Most of which are banned outside of the USA The amount of suhgar in Amercian savoury products including staples such as bread is criminal.
Be careful you'll all be turning orange next like Tnago man.
