During the season and fair, an event celebrating the Valmaggiore CRU 🍇one of the most significant hills and CRUs in Roero 🍇took place in Vezza d’Alba on 18th Novembere 2025.

Have you ever heard about Valmagiore CRU❓

▶️ A place where tow appellations meet: Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC and ROERO DOCG, since there are also some wine producers from the other side of the Tanaro River who own or rent a piece of land on this hill.
▶️ The challenging conditions, including vertical trails and steep slopes, significantly enhance the difficulty of the working environment.
▶️ Soil Composition: The Asti Sands, characterised by a composition of 65% sand, 25% slit, and 10% clay, significantly contributes to the higher level of the soil.

The Valmaggiore hill and its wines described by :
Valmaggiore is a heroic vineyard, a fascinating part of Roero. Wines produced at a high cost, with great effort and considerable critical conditions associated with the soil and slopes.
The glass releases the elegance and floral delicacy of Nebbiolo, balanced and lasting freshness and sweet tannins. A distinctive and refreshing taste.

We’re right in the middle of the International Sherry Week and I’d love to celebrate it through my memories. 🌟 I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Jerez in April 2025, and would love to share some of the beauties I discovered in this incredible . 🍷✨

Sherry wines are truly amazing! They hold a rich history, dating back over 3000 years. 🍇🕰️

I had the chance to visit , a historic winery complex located in the heart of Jerez. The experience was incredible — diving into the wine history, Spanish culture, and traditions, with countless solera barrels and a well-explained tour. 🏺

Cádiz, founded in 1000 BC by the Phoenicians, is full of history and charm.

Sanlúcar de Barrameda - one of the three cities of the - offers the chance to taste the famous “Manzanilla” wines.

Walking throught the vineyards paved with “albariza” soil and experiencing the power of the Poniente wind was unforgettable. 🌬️🌿

I was happy to visit the . Thank you 🙏 Marcellino Piquero, for the wine tour and tasting you did for us.

I appreciated the wine. Its deep brown color and dark aromas of dried fruit, raisins, chocolate, and coffee made a lasting impression. Despite its high sugar content, the rich flavors make it a true delight! 🍫☕

A day of

Last week I had chance to be a part of the judging committee at the , one of the special wine competitions to which the OIV grants patronage — a true mark of excellence in the wine world. 🍷✨
This unique event focuses exclusively on Cabernet, Merlot, and their blends, making it even more particular.

Here are some statistics data: 👩‍⚖️ 76 judges (49 international & 27 Italian) from around the globe 🌍  📝 7 dedicated commissions 🍇 243 wine samples from 26 countries

Grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a prestigious and diverse tasting journey, which gave me chance to taste these varieties turned into wines and to explore so many expressions from around the world.

It has been an inspiring experience, connecting me with amazing wine colleagues from all over the world.

🎓My certificate ✨passed with merit✨arrived just a few days ago.

It wasn’t easy - balancing work, family and frequent job travelling was challenging at times - but I kept studying and 🍷 tasting a lot of wines 🍷 🙋‍♀️

A huge thank you to (my APP) for your support and professional online ; to for your fantastic video 📼 lessons; and to podcast 🎙️ (I’ve spent countless hours listening to your sessions in my car)!

You all made a difference in my preparation !🙏
