“ A Baker’s Story”
I’m inspired to share my story of how I started baking.
I’m passionate about culinary arts (yes, I am a foodie) with a specialty in the science of baking. I’ve been doing this since high school; my vocational training in high school was Food and Nutrition. After leaving high school, I went on to do 9-10 yrs in the hospitality industry with exposure to food & beverage and customer service. I decided to further my education by getting a first degree in Hospitality Management, where I majored in Food & Beverage, Advance Baking, and Hospitality Administration. I rejoined the hospitality industry after leaving uni, this time with exposure to supervisory management in Food and Beverage, Events Management and Sales. After 13 years in hospitality, I changed careers; I started working in the Call Center Industry. It has been 7 years and counting. Even though, I changed careers, my passion for culinary arts never died. I still get to use my skills in my current job (which I love BTW), and continue to do it for my family and close friends. I’ve decided to slowly go commercial with my hobby because of my passion for baking. Thanks to a little bullying from my supports -my family and close friends.
This is my story and that’s how it all began.
