Shet-Pan Feast

The Shet-Pan Feast Fruit Carving Competition was established as an engaging activity for teenagers, aimed at generating financial support to assist with their educational goals.

There is no entry fee, and participants who place first, second, or third will receive a cash scholarship to contribute towards their high school or college tuition for the upcoming academic year 2025/2026.

Judging will be conducted by two on-site judges, with additional input from event patrons who will vote for their favorite fruit carving display.

This unique food festival brings to life the rich tapestry of our heritage, with each dish telling a story of the people who have shaped our island — from the Tainos and Africans to the Spanish, British, Chinese, Indians, Germans, and Irish.

Held every three months, Shet-Pan Feast offers an immersive culinary experience that reflects the diverse roots of Jamaican food. More than just a feast, it’s a cultural journey and a prelude to a larger festival that will soon take center stage.

Conceptualized and created by Rosalee Wood Condell, Shet-Pan Feast is where history meets flavor, and where every bite celebrates the spirit of Jamaica.
