We have a group on WhatsApp (Jordan Let's Eat) where the members of the group can share their experiences in restaurants across Jordan. We also have the JLE Team, which is comprised of around 20 people, and checks out a different restaurant a couple of times a month. The JLE Team is made up of regular people who enjoy dining out and trying new places, just like most people; the only difference is
is that we share our experiences online. we are NOT professional food industry folk or food critics. The JLE concept was dreamt up by Rana Rizkallah, who has a background in music and enjoys going out, trying out new venues and sharing the experience with her friends. Above all, our aim is to help improve the restaurant and eatery scene in Jordan by providing honest feedback about our experience and sharing it with the world. We do not shroud our reviews with food-critic jargon or technical aspects of how the food was prepared-we are interested in the basic aspects of the outlet, in terms of ambiance, service, whether it was good or not, value for money and the outlet itself. We believe that the general public are the "bread and butter" of the industry. If a restaurant is good, then the general public will tend to support it; if the restaurant does not maintain its standards, then it will not be successful. By and large, JLE does not get compensated or sponsored for our outings, and when we are comped a meal, we specifically state that that was the case. You can read our reviews on our website, www.jordanletseat.com, on this page and you may request to join the WhatsApp group to stay on top of the dining out scene in Jordan! Send a private message letting us know that you would like to be added to the group for instant updates).
